Method: I pick a material i am interested I then research how it’s made and what it’s used for. Using that knowledge i make sculptures going as far as my imagination takes me. I start with a simple experiment and use the results to guide my work and further explorations.

Current Material: Plywood; It’s used in furniture, packaging and in the construction industry due to it’s versatility, durability, ease to work with and low cost. It is a fascinating material with many possibilities to explore.

What’s the point: Materials are not infinite ressources and they come at a cost such as; the destruction of ecosystems, the creation of waste that can’t be recycled, as well as adding carbon to the atmosphere…

Through my art and my unconventional usage of materials I am want to bring attention to the costs of materials, to encourage their responsible use and emphasize the importance of designing materials to be easily recyclable.
